Degree Conditions for H-Linked Digraphs

چکیده
Given a digraphH, anH-subdivision is any digraph obtained by replacing each arc uv of H with a (directed) u− v path of arbitrary length. A directed graph D is H-linked if every injective functionf : V (H) → V (D) extends to an H-subdivision in G. The H-linkage property has been well-studied in undirected graphs, and in both the directed and undirected case generalizes the notions of k-linked and k-ordered (di)graphs. Here, we give sharp degreesum and minimum semi-degree conditions that assure a digraph D is Hlinked for arbitrary H. This extends recent results of Kuhn and Osthus on k-linked and k-ordered graphs.

Sufficient conditions on the zeroth-order general Randic index for maximally edge-connected digraphs
Let D be a digraph with vertex set V(D) .For vertex v V(D), the degree of v, denoted by d(v), is defined as the minimum value if its out-degree and its in-degree . Now let D be a digraph with minimum degree and edge-connectivity If is real number, then the zeroth-order general Randic index is defined by . A digraph is maximally edge-connected if . In this paper we present sufficient condi...
متن کاملThe Diameter of Randomly Perturbed Digraphs and Some Applications
The central observation of this paper is that if ǫn random arcs are added to any n-node strongly connected digraph with bounded degree then the resulting graph has diameter O(lnn) with high probability. We apply this to smoothed analysis of algorithms and property testing. Smoothed Analysis: Recognizing strongly connected digraphs is a basic computational task in graph theory. Even for digraphs...
متن کامل0n removable cycles in graphs and digraphs
In this paper we define the removable cycle that, if $Im$ is a class of graphs, $Gin Im$, the cycle $C$ in $G$ is called removable if $G-E(C)in Im$. The removable cycles in Eulerian graphs have been studied. We characterize Eulerian graphs which contain two edge-disjoint removable cycles, and the necessary and sufficient conditions for Eulerian graph to have removable cycles h...
متن کاملSmall H-Coloring Problems for Bounded Degree Digraphs
An NP-complete coloring or homomorphism problem may become polynomial time solvable when restricted to graphs with degrees bounded by a small number, but remain NP-complete if the bound is higher. For instance, 3-colorability of graphs with degrees bounded by 3 can be decided by Brooks’ theorem, while for graphs with degrees bounded by 4, the 3-colorability problem is NP-complete. We investigat...
متن کاملRegular digraphs of diameter 2 and maximum order
It is known that Moore digraphs of degree d > 1 and diameter k > 1 do not exist (see [16] or [4]). For degree 2, it has been shown that for diameter k ~ 3 there are no digraphs of order 'close' to, i.e., one less than, the Moore bound (14). For diameter 2, it is known that digraphs close to Moore bound exist for any degree because the line digraphs of complete digraphs are an example of such di...
